After watching last night Berto/Quintana fight and before Jones/Hopkins fight, what is going on with fighters using and complaining to refs. This is becoming an usual thing and many times they are legit shots or both fighters are doing the same tactics to each other, but one complains and acts more than the other. This issue must be fix asap. I can't believe all the acting and crying that is going on. Quintana last night probably got discourage as the fight went on, his punches were clean except for the one he got a point deducted. That one should've been his first warning, but because of complaining of Berto in previous rounds, the deduction occur. It seem the ref was just concentrating on Quintana and most of the warnings were against him. This could discourage any fighter as the fight continues. Same with Jones fight, Hopkins using the ref perhaps for some rest time. This is getting out of hand.
What happened to the good ol days when guys like Ali and Jones only talked to the ref to get them to stop them beating the **** out of their opponent?
