hopkins didn't beat pavlik at his own game but i certainly did not expect hopkins to fight the way he did and be so entertaining. you can the pascal fights in there as well. i also think in a way kesler beat froch in his own game. kessler could have used his supperior boxing skills to beat froch but he seemed to prefer to trade with froch

I felt he tried in round 2 but hagler was able to keep the pressure on him and hurt himnot letting him control with the jab from the outside.

yes in round 1 but do you feel even if that didnt happen tommy could have won? I feel chin decided the outcome, hagler had a atg chin tommy sadly didnt, eventually hagler would have caught him, early or late, thomas doesnt win this matchup.

Well Hagler fought away from his normal manner against Hearns, but I wouldn't say that was Hearns's game either. Hearns liked to get distance to launch his bombs, his right hand was most dangerous when he had room to get full extension. Hagler kept it at a closer distance by swarming all over Tommy.

I wouldn't really classify Cotto-Mosley as one as I think Mosley's "power boxing" style was similar to like being a speedy slugger.

You could argue Corrales-Castillo 1, but Chico was also a terrific infighter, despite his physical dimensions.

Mayweather-Hatton was the first to come to mind though.

corrales-castillo did cross my mind but i didn't see think too many would agree. would you mind ellaborating on maywether-hatton? i thought it was a pretty typical mayweather that we saw.

Campbell vs Diaz is the first one that always comes up first in my mind. Good fight and brilliant performance by Campbell probably his best work.

I thought Mayweather was getting the better of it up close, in and out of the clinch, and with the rough tactics.

When they were locked up with one arm, Mayweather repeatedly dug in right uppercuts to Hatton's body with the free hand. He out-bodypunched the bodypuncher, and used clinches to his advantage. Hatton would often clinch and then set up offense off it, but Floyd got the better of it in this fight. He also used a lot of dirty tricks in there, something Hatton was known for.

Yeah, Campbell was real busy in there. It was a good fight, I loved the way Campbell went to Diaz's body.

i never saw it that way. thanks for ellaborating. i always thought mayweather was a pretty good inside fighter, and body puncher. he was tearing brusels up in the body.
