Fighters where a fan speaking of them is either doing with so with absolute reverence and praise, maybe even them being greats... Or deconstructing as them being overglorified and more or less a **** fighter.

Tony Galento, Gene Tunney, and Primo Carnera immediantly spring to mind.

    Mike McCallum perhaps?

He's either an ATG who was deprived of his chance to fully show it, or a vastly overrated fighter who fell short in some of his biggest tests.

Max Baer. He's been brought up numerous times in this forum as of late, but he's one of those mysteries. Either he was a great fighter who had all the possibilities/qualities to have been one of the ATG boxers, or he was too inconsistant to be labeled as such.

George Foreman to a degree. Most see him as formidable, but many question his greatness.

James Toney to a certain level. Either a fighter who got gifts against Tiberi and lost to some lower level fighters or an excellent master in the ring.
