Must be really rare, yeah, most fighters don't like to even admit it when they've lost on points, let alone been given the nod.

    Classy as always.

Haven't seen this since it aired on afternoon free tv, but the look on Lupe Pintor's face after he got the nod over Carlos Zarate was the look of a fighter who was very surprised he got the decision.

That's not quite admitting he lost. I think he thought he actually won. He's just saying Ruby is honest.

Morales went into Marco's dressing up after their first fight, put a medal round him, and said, "this is your night".

That sticks in my mind as well, and all the press commented on that expression after the match.

Leonard vs Hearns II, and one of Leonard's opponents in an amateur fight where he lost a controversial decision.

I really hope your not referring to Morales here because if you are then that is just plain bull****... if you aren`t then I do apologize ;)

    Unlikely.

    1. Barrera continually acted like a ***** towards Morales right up until the rematch 2 & a half years later, why would he do this if Erik had shown him this huge respect ?

    2. Morales said multiple times that he thought he won the fight & that people were just suprised because Marco did a lot better than expected.

It's on a 6-disc Muhammad Ali documentary I own, sorry, but maybe you could find it but searching for a few Norton-Ali post-fight interviews.

    Bobby Chacon vs. David Sotello

After Bobby received a 'gift decision' by the California Judges at 'The Forum', despite getting
pounded and dropped 'twice' by 'journeyman' David Sotello.

Bobby, 'I guess I owe the Judges some gifts, because they just gave me an early
Birthday present. I'm embarrassed by this,,,,,,,,, because I cannot look anyone in the eye and
    honestly say I won this fight,,,,,,,,,,because I didn't.'

The Schoolboy, was a 'class act'.

yeah Ray admitted this. Duran should admit that Ray beat him fair and square. Hearns admits Hagler beat him well and that he fought the right style. Marvin would never admit he lost even if a guy knocked him out probably. He would say something caused him to go down but not a punch.
