He didn't look hurt in the Rahman fight :nono

He looked a bit hurt in that amateur fight, but come on, he was fighting the legendary Felix Savon

And Tua was just a 19yo boy back then, his shock absorbing neck muscles hadn't yet reached full size, so he was basically a different Tua with a much worse chin than the one we're used to.

Cut Tuaman some slack. He's an iron headed warrior that cant be really hurt.

 

I believe Carl froch to some degree is guilty of this

 

Ricky hatton would try a kinda pull counter with his head movement, only to get clocked most of the time doing so.

 

John Murray is one of the worst boxers for it currently.

Guys that make a career out of taking punches usually have really amazing punch resistance and also parkinsons.

 

James Kirkland... already slurring.

If he is smart he is putting away some of each fight purse to pay for the inevitable assisted care he will begin to require right around his late 40's.

But he's prolly not doing that :-(

actually Whitaker took a lot of damage late in his career. tito gave him a particularly bad beating. could be the reason for his slurring
