    :huh I havn't heard anyone yet consider him an ATG...and I'm a massive fan.

    I do believe he should be inducted into the HoF at some point, but he's not even close to being an ATG...retired too soon.

    Does anyone consider Floyd Patterson an ATG? If so, then it doesn't matter.

    If not, then Sonny Liston qualifies.

    WTF? Joe Louis beat Max Baer, Jack Sharkey, Max Schmeling and Jersey Joe Walcott. Two of them are locks for the Top20 at hws, the other two at least contender for a place there. That´s 2-4 atgs on his resume.

    I'm sorry, but Walcott is no ATG. Beating a declining Ezzard Charles does not an ATG make.
