Was listening to a Carl Froch interview earlier and he was saying how much he and Kessler got on, how they were like brothers. Froch didn't seem to have much time for Bute or for Ward though. Don't think there are any fighters who like Bute or Ward particularly. So, who would you say were the fighters who were most popular/best liked by their peers?
Ricky hatton said after the paulie mallaganagi fgt that he got on very well with paulie and even after the fight paulie came into rickys dressing room with 6 blue moon beers ( hatton's entrance music ) . I can imagine hatton made some friends after the fgts he had
I guess some fighters also treat their sparring partners well (e.g. Bute, Pacquiao, Klitschkos). So I guess, that will come into it too.
Its pretty hard not to like Cotto IMO. Also how can anyone dislike Marquez? Obviously Floyd had to sell both fights so there was the usual trash talk, but I sensed a level of respect for them both. I assume most boxers respect and like them both.
