Don't laugh but as a fighter I respect Roger Mayweather. It takes alot of balls to get in the ring with a prime JCC.

Among active fighters: Brian Minto, Jesse Feliciano, Emmanuel Augustus, Terry Smith. A bunch of tough ass journeyman fighters.

    Fenech is in the HoF.

I don't think that is what this thread is talking about with "Fighters who aren't that great"

Jermain Taylor should be on every ones list. Getting brutally KOed by Pavlik and immediately asking for a rematch showed balls

Boy I remember the constant **** he use to get on here in 07...Fast forward now and Jermain is generally respected universally by ESB..Shame that respect have to come after a couple of brutal KOs

Alfonso Gomez Exciting fighter andlike how did well in the contender against fighters 2 weight classes above his natural weight
Enrique Ornelas Gave a good account of himself against Hopkins, always was trying
Jermaine Taylor Was pretty talented not so great anymore but hes willing to fight anyone
Sergio Mora Local guy,He deserves more respect from boxing people for pulling of the upset against Forrest and I feel he got shafted out of big payday, and chance at another title when Pavlik pulled out,you havent heard from him since but its not his fault. Plus he used to lives on the same street my son lives on.
Rocky Juarez Hes a good fighter but he keeps falling a little short against the elite fighters hope he gets a title one day.

I was at that fight...I know Paulie a bit and when it was over I was standing above the alley that the fighters had to walk down to get back to the dressing rooms waiting for him to come through...and there he is with swollen eye/cheek, really bad...face not looking good...just went through brutal fight...and he's standing there not hiding in the least...standing there looking up at the crowd, thanking them with gestures for their support...kind of shrugging his shoulders, saying "hey, nothing to be ashamed of, I tried my best"...that scene has always stayed with me...

Roy Jones Jr. His twilight years have been very impressive, the guy has shown a lot of guts, heart and done it all with panache.
