I think of fights such as Money vs the likes of Judah, Hatton, Corales, Baldimir, Ortiz, Caneloe and Guerreroe. All guys who were never the same mentally and physically after being outboxed and/or beaten to a pulp.

Any others you guys can think of?

Broner by going to WW esp vs Maidana.

Chad Dawson dropping down to 168.

Maybe Lara by repeatedly calling out Canelo and then losing when they fought.

David Price vs Tony Thompson esp the second time possibly.

    Floyd and Ellerbe

Floyd thought it was a walk in the park but he didn't know Ellerbe was taking Extenz. He fired Ellerbe like there was no tomorrow and wasn't ashamed to let the world know that they have outgrown each other.

IDK that Mayweather ruined any of these guys? At least not in terms of being beaten in a sense that they suffered severe physical trauma.

The only guy I've ever seen Floyd beat like they stole his lunch money was Gatti. That was biting of more than he could chew.

    Others that come to mind...
    Duran vs Davey Moore
    Tito Trinidad vs David Reid
    Tito Trinidad vs B-Hop
    Jeff Lacy vs Calzaghe
Both Castillo & Corrales....bit off more than they could/should have chewed....by fighting each other. Lol

Cleverly was a case of going from paddling in a kids pool with armbands to being thrown into the deep end and expecting him to swim.

    Mayweather vs. Castillo 1

Castillo whupped him and was all over that ass so bad that he made Floyd believe he was suffering from a torn rotater cuff .

But No , There was nothing wrong with his shoulder , he was just in shocked that he finally lost a fight and quickly needed an excuse . :deal

Nothing out there till this day confirming this injury .
