"If you lifted the sole of your foot from the canvas, Harry would bite you on it."

I read once that Ketchel would bite his opponents. I only read it once on some random site, so I don't know if it's true. Wouldn't put it past him, though.

I seem to remember there was a Heavyweight fight involving Floyd"Jumbo" Cummings, & there was a bite on the shoulder to one of them? Mid 80's.

I read in the amateurs, Evander Holyfield bit somebody on accident, basically because he was hit so hard, he had a concusion.

The guy had Holyfield badly hurt, and Holyfield said he apparently bit him in a clinch. The fight was stopped by the referee (this was a very young Holyfield), and Evander said he didn't even remember much about the fight, but that the bite, that he remembered coming back to him in the dressing room. He said that was one of the darker moments of his career, and that had he been conherent, he would never had done that. I believe him.

    But interesting nonetheless.

You remember right, and that was against Renaldo Snipes, and from memory, I seem to recall Cummings biting Snipes' shoulder on more than one occasion during the fight, as well as getting him with a few well placed headbutts and low blows.

An all-around dirty performance by Cummings in that one.

I know Holyfield talked about it on a talk show after Tyson bit him, but I don't remember Holyfield saying anything about it being an accident.

Adrian Dodson was thrown out in the 12th and last round for biting Alain Bonnomie in the chest. (A large mark was visible)

Sakkie Horn bit Sugarboy Malinga several times over their series of fights. A dastardly deed for a cop, wouldn't you agree?
