Mayweather always looks to be in fantastic shape but doesn't really look like a very imposing person, but he is able to at the least match strength with most of his oponents.

Marciano didn't look very imposing, yet he was always the stronger man in the ring.

Carmen Basilio is another who despite being in clearly fantastic shape didn't really have a very imposing look about him, but only Gene Fullmer managed to consistently outmuscle him.

I suppose Bob Fitzsimmons might get a mention. Yeah he had the stong upper body, but the dangling legs would thown people off I guess. Not sure about this one.

    Good call. :good

Me & my buddies were shocked when Money May out-muscled Mosley back in 2010.

Marciano was definitely in mind when I made this Thread. He didn't have the size like other heavys but he had some heavyweight like strength and punching power.

Didn't think about Mayweather at first but you make a point especially at welter he seems very physically strong

I like to mention Max Bear as well although no small guy in size he didn't have that imposing size say like a Foreman or that all out muscle like Mike Tyson but the man showed immense physical strength even against some of his larger opponents like Primo Carnera. Also surprised no one mentioned Qawi

Not too often that I agree with you Seamus but in this case I do. Of course I would not want to **** with Chuvalo let alone any of the other names I've mentioned but at the same time he didn't have that say that overly muscular frame but by no account was he scrawny
