Not in the ring of course but just with boxing, what guys should really retire in your opinion and what fighters do you see continue even though they are shot.

    Guys who should retire today:
    -E.holy fields
    - Jones jr
    - Mosley
    - Briggs
    - Rahman (actually all those lewis left overs)
    - barrera
    - Morales
    - direll
    - nate campbell

Fighters who will turn in to the first category:
    - adamek
    - jm marquez
    - katsidis
    - r. marquez
    - judah
    - abraham
    - froch
    - glen johnson

How do you reckon Abraham will end up in the first category?

I'd love to hear your reasoning, as you're sounding off like a well and full blown ******.

You just chose in ring 'warriors', Just because they dont know how 2 quit in the ring doesnt mean they wont out of it.

Historicly most of the fighters that end up in that category are the ones with the "iron chins". With a few exeptions of course.
    The biggest reasons beïng in that case;
    1) They don't get a wakeup call, by getting knocked out by b or c class fighters.
    2) Win some bouts by just hanging in there, or getting gifts.
    3) Having had so many big shots to the head without going down/out, linear thought (and speech) is out the window.

People who love to fight, are good at it and have good chins, their life is boxing, money problems might happen.don't have much activities outside the ring. I get a lot of people might not agree with the second list but thats just my view, post your own list of boxer who you think will keep going on to long. I also want to add mccall to the first list.

    Antwun Echols

There was a time he was actually a pretty good fighter.. he so far past shot it's sad watch him tarnish whatever image he ever had.

I would add Holyfield right after Jones Jr, and maybe Hopkins somewhere in the middle

hopkins doesn't deserve to be on there yet. it's a testament to his conditioning and skills that anyone can say this..but he will get on this list.

the man will probably fight until he's 50

Emmanuel Augustus belongs on that first list also. He's still fighting and just looks awful.
