Its late , 4am UK my baby daughter isnt sleeping!!

Just want to know if any fighter has done what Chad has done before and that is to be number 1 in their weight division , then drop down to fight the number 1 in the lower weight?

The nearest I can think is Leonard vs Lalonde , but Im not sure both were number 1's in their division , I know Ray Leonard definately wasnt a 168 fighter.

    peace.

I don't think that Leonard v.s. Lalonde was the example of what you're talking about.

That whole fight was a farce, both the WBC SMW and LHW titles were up for grabs, so Leonard became the 168lb and 175lb champ and went from three to five weight class champion all in one fight.

Henry Armstrong? Although WW wasn't his natural division.
