I hope he returns. Maybe he got a chick and found better ways to spend his time. Hope so.

It won't last when she finds out he would rather watch Marvin Johnson bouts than spend time with her

Tommy Ryan's effort against Kid McCoy was very impressive, though more so in hindsight. Unbelievable what he did while out of shape against a naturally bigger ATG opponent.

Braddock's fight with Louis is possibly his best performance
Fitz in his second fight with Jeffries

    Couple of forgotten ones....
Kelvin Seabrooks fought one of the most courageous fights in history trying to save his title against Orlando Canizales.
Pascual Aranda, pretty much a clubfighter on a hometown hot streak, exhausted every ounce of will trying to win the title against Antonia Esparagoza. Both were examples in absolute will and courage in the face of inevitable defeat against superior fighters. Almost tragically sad to watch.

Can we give a shoutout to Terry Daniels and Ron Stander for going fearlessly out on their shields against Smokin' Joe?

Efren Alacran Torres in losing his first title challenge to fly champion Chartchai Chionoi in '67(?) in what was a valiant effort...but Torres won the title from Chionoi and exacted revenge by an 8th round tko the following year....then...lost it back to the great Thai by a unanimous 15 round decision in their rubber match.

The fight which stands out for me is Arguello vs. Pryor 1. I think he put his all in that fight to the point where he didn't have much left after he was stopped. That right he landed on Pryor near the end of the fight where Pryor's head snapped back. Alexis put his all out.
