He actually was coming on in that rematch with Pastrano at the time of the tko in New Orleans..ringsiders and writers wondered why the fight was stopped...the cut didn't seem that bad...Wilie was great for the first 4 rounds but Peralta was getting to the body and making it rough for Pastrano like in their first bout. Also I cheered myself hoarse in the first Foreman bout when Peralta looked like he was going to upset a tired Foreman...but that was a razor thin loss..Peralta finished much stronger....everybody booed that decision, even though George probably deserved by an eyelash.
A guy who gave just about everyone hell..with the exception of his career end blitz at the hands of Danny Lopez was Chucho Castillo...3 times he went the distance with prime Ruben Olivares..scoring the only knockdowns in their three fights..and he decked Lionel Rose and some say that he softened up Rose for Olivares to get him. He was a tough, tough guy with a sneaky and hard right hand. That was some accomplishment to last the limit with the terror that was Olivares in those days.
