Murtazaliev lurching around the ring like a drunken buffoon shrieking the name of his fairy god mother after the Tszyu fight, but not a mention after Kelly dismantled him.

Let me be honest and say that most high-level fighters are cocky or have huge egos because that's the amount of confidence the sport of boxing demands. So I'm not one of those people who believes the "humble boxer" archetype is genuine. Not that there's anything wrong with pretending to be humble, but I also don't care when a fighter is cocky after a win.

Broner after every win. Never seen a humbling like the one Maidana gave him.

Hasim Rahman is a good one, he was so cocky he turned down a big money contract from HBO because he thought he could get more after he beat Lennox a second time… we all know how that ended.

Naming murtazaliev with that tim tszyu header in your profile reaks of bias. Murtazaliev seems pretty humble compared to a wealth of other boxers. Forgive him for getting one guy to fight him (because that's what tszyu does - yes, I like him, too) and get some recognition for the win and enjoy it.

I actually think he is pretty much a menace and should have won against kelly, even though he fought well. Kelly was mostly better than expected, but also trying not to get hurt too badly for much of the fight.

And now again noone fights murtazaliev.

I think he is a boogeyman and about as sought after as opetaia by other fighters. The ' like a god' which wasn't as bad, was probably for promotion. And smart promotion, too.

Anyone remember Jason Litzau? There was a real over confident unlikeable hype job. I remember seeing his fights on Tuesday Night Fights and all the trash talking and hot-dogging he was doing. He fell real hard and humbled after a couple of losses.

Broner was insufferable after winning all of his titles. After the Paulie win he behaved as if he beat a prime Duran.

Edison Miranda beats Howard Eastman and becomes a trash-talking contender rivaling Mayorga in arrogance.

Litzau? I forgot he existed until I read this post. What a cocky hype job he was. As you said, all he was was a Tuesday night fighter. Vanished off the face of the earth. Those flogs on TV doing Tuesday night fights were pathetic talking him up like he's Ali and Tyson molded into one.

Boxing commentators are the biggest jerk off's.
