    I think Ali's fight with Chuck Wepner may fit the bill. .Although I don't know if that was supposed to a be a tune up or a " take it easy" fight.

    Arguello allegedly blew a fight with Duran dropping a non title fight.

    Tyson blew a June 1990 date with Holyfield losing to Douglas.

    Witherspoon blew a Tyson pay day losing to late sub Bonecrusher Smith.

    Alex Garcia decided to give up a $1 Million pay day against Bowe to 'gain more experience'; and he duly learnt how to get flattened by Journeymen!

    Mercer blew a Bowe pay day, losing to the Ferguson. He was even alleged to offered Jesse money late in the fight to take a dive.

    Judah lost substantial pay when he lost to Maussa and baldomir!

    I remember when he lost to baldomir he almost blew the whole fight with Mayweather!

    How? It was a take it easy fight after beating Foreman, but I fail to see how he got more than he expected. An easy win against a game, but ridiculously outclassed fighter.
