Lewis and Wlad both peaked late after teaming up with Emanuel who was able to help fine-tune their styles after they were past their physical peaks.

Forgot about Ron Lyle. Both he and Jesse Burnett's peaking late was due to their being held over at the state's pleasure for several years.

stuart hall and joe calzaghe both won their first recognised world title in their mid thirties.

awesome efforts by both, and a real hail mary by stuart. he was so happy to finally make it, as was joe overjoyed to beat 21-win novice jeff lacy. it was great to see them so happy to win it after almost 20 years.

edit - sorry, my bad about stuart, he won his at 33, over a year earlier than joe.
    Sorry Stu!

are you sure you want to claim that beating a 40soemthing baldie on points is your prime effort? because that makes charr look a lot worse than he already is. and he looks bad as it is.
