    Against top class opposition.

For example, Clottey isn't a weak puncher, but in a half dozen plus matches in a row later in his career, they all went the distance.

I don't think there's a single top shelf fighter that didn't marvel at Shaver's power.

They marvel at it of couse, but he failed against the elite most often than not, but he failed to ko the likes of Quarry, Ron Lyle, Mercado, and I leaving out the champs like Holmes and Ali.

    Ah that's right

He just had an off night two fights prior vs Roldan, and wow, Roldan was like a cross between Loche and Rocky Marciano :D

    LaMar Clark comes to mind

44 knockouts in his 45 wins, his best KO wins being over Dynamite Jackson (7-7) and Chuck Wilburn (5-10). The best fighters he faced (Muhammad Ali, Peter Rademacher, Bartolo Soni) all stopped him.

In Ali's own words, Ali was out on his feet, not remembering parts of that fight.

Only other person who did that to him?

Foreman, one of the hardest hitters of all time.

That's not what I'm looking for here.

    Gerry Cooney.

Lyle and Norton were done when he fought them.
