The most recent example that I can think of is Alexander Povetkin knocking out Dillian Whyte. On the night of the fight, Povetkin was 11 days shy of his 41st birthday, while Whyte was (and still is) just 32.

Another one I just thought of is Joe Frazier. Believed to be totally used up after FOTC, Joe was a ball of fire against Bugner and the in the rematch w/ Quarry. Those two fights of his get really overlooked. Some of his all-time greatest performances imo.

Hagler was robbed. Leonard ran all night and did shoe shine punching to steal rounds. Those things should only be counted at amateur level.

I think Hagler was slightly past his prime when he beat Hearns.

I'm not sure exactly when Hopkins's prime was, but I'll take an estimate from around 96/97 to 2003. His decline was slow and he adapted well, and had a number of notable wins from 2004 on, even though Tito back in 2001 was his signature win.

Folley's win over Bonavena is very impressive too, considering Folley's age.
