Primo I believe was the same as Willard. Big guy ,but not fond of actually hurting someone.

 

And whilst I'm not sure he didn't like fighting ,Floyd Patterson hated to really hurt his opponent. None more so than when he crashed Ingo to the mat in the rematch.

 

I don't think Sugar Ray Leonard loved it too much. I think he had fear of losing which made him a great fighter and he had great skills. But I never thought he had the natural tenacity to keep fighting like Hearns or Duran or Hagler. Maybe he had more options than those guys outside of boxing.

 

He quit to go drive a truck...and I believe that he was happier doing that than he ever was when he was fighting.
