Who were some fighters who hit like someone from a higher weight class? I've heard that Hamed hit like a middleweight.

Id mention Julian Jackson and Nigel Benn when in there respectable weight classes they punched like animals.

McClellan would have to be mentioned as far a powerful punchers go.

Roberto Duran as a LW had unheard of power.

Tommy Hearns as that right hand may be the most devistating shot out of the WW division weve seen in the last 30 years

RJJ even tho he did compete at the HW level..while at SMW, or CW had trendiness speed and power for his size.

I'd go with Chris Eubank. Michael Watson was built like a solid oak light-heavy and he lifted him off his feet with an uppercut, - Carl Thompson was 210lbs ripped and was also taken clean off his feet from the Eubank uppercut!

Steve Collins was so so strong, and Eubank was the only guy to get him over to the chin with force.

No. At LW try Rosario or Jenkins or even Arguello. Duran was generally an accumulation puncher.

The first fighter that came to mind when I saw the thread was Gomez.

    Then Olivares. Then Zamora.

    G-Man. Sickening power.

Julian Jackson has to be mentioned as well. He had savage power.

I agree, but isn't it funny how that power, which seemingly doesn't belong where it was, but up a division, didn't translate that way in reality.

Good calls as usual Southpaw !Jackson was insane with that true one punch power... The right hand that Hearns cleaned out Duran with should be considered, nuclear !
