At lightweight, Duran had sickening power in his right hand. Later in his career he became a combo and accumulation puncher, which kinda disqualifies him as his power was less a factor as he rose in weight.

Eubanks, McClellan and Jackson are all disqualified because none proved their case in a higher weight class.

Langford, Fitzsimmons, Pacquiao are guys who come to mind...

Years ago, I took my kids and a bunch of friends to see a St.Paddy`s Day card in Worcester. Julian Jackson was on the card against Agostino Cardamone (spell ? ) Cardamone was doing great in the first round, boxing JJ`s ears off,and his fans were cheering wildly. In between rds, I was telling my kids about how hard JJ could hit, punchers chance all that good stuff. Lo and behold, I think it was the next round Jj lands a bomb,POW fight over ! You didn`t hear a peep from Cardamone`s fans. It was fast, brutal and electrifying ! Damn did Jackson have freakish power !!!

This man was unstoppable from 118-135. His power never dropped from Batam to Lightweight over 12 years.

Eubank was a former middleweight and was able to knock much bigger Carl Thompson down in cruiserweight division. Eubank also hurt Thompson multiple times in their two fights, even tough he was something that they call shot to **** novadays.

The Spinks jinx doesn't get deserved credit.

Cooney tooks the right hands of Holmes a lot better.

Eubank also punched the huge light-heavy G.Rocchigiani all over the ring. Eubank was a 154lber in the late 80s.
