Watching some Arguello highlights i noticed that he could hook off the jab almost effortlessly. This is imo a skill that very few fighters posses.

Here is an Arguello highlight. You can see it at 2:53 in full speed with a replay after and then again around 3:19 in another fight.

I wonder who are some of the fighters today who hook off the jab like that and can you think of any specific moments where they did it? Maybe show a utube clip.

I cant stand watching him fight unless he is challenged but Vitali.

Man that big Lemon Ruski could fight one armed against most of todays heavies and just Jab hook himself the win for ttwelve rounds.

imo Vitali is an extremely versatile fighter. I actually have him in my p4p top 10 because he can throw almost any punch as well as counter punch, box or be agressive + he has a great chin and good power and a solid though unorthodox defense

however i can't think of any specific instance where he hooked off the jab. Though I remember he threw some nice combo's against Gomez where he actually set up his left hand with the lead right, and I know he often leads with the left hook.

Wlad can hook off a jab. I just wish he'd do it more often.

I think that Wlad can hook of the jab much better than his bro. And he does it more often. However Vitaliy has some akward punches that come from nowhere.

Excellent observations, the Klitschko brothers are pros at this.

am i thinking more of Wlad than Vitali?

i dont mind being wrong on this one as i dont profess to being a huge Klitschko watcher.

one of those big *******s turns it over quite well

Hey man i might be wrong, i will try and find something for you. Somewhere i got it in my head and i can see it replaying in my mind of Vitali or Wlad.

Like i said - not so much a Klitpro so i might be off the mark

Yes, Mayweather turns it over like a bull whip.

Bradley can flow. Linares can do anything with the hook.

Unlike Joe Frazier, Arguello was naturally right handed so that makes his hook all the greater.
