Fighters who lacked ANY class.......

Naz's taunting during a fight was for entertainment, and it worked. He became a massive star for it. He at least gave respect to his opponents after the fights. His ring entrances were also for entertainment, and again it worked. It made him unique, it got people talking, and had the arenas pumping. Finally, Barrera didn't knock the **** out of him. He simple outpointed him, that's all.

Conclusion....Naz was a legend. Did more for the sport than anyone today. Love him or hate, he's been sorely missed.

 

Never heard about that but as far as boxers personal lives go dont throw stones there not angels James Butler murdered Max Kellermans brother, Tyson raped a woman and probably beat his wife as well, Corrales beat his wife, Monzon through his wife off a balcony to here death and reguarly beat the crap out of the media and a slew of models he dated, even De La Hoya allegedly has a **** charge of a 15 year old girl that got swept under the rug accourding to one of the writers on ESB Vivek Wallace the list goes on judge fighters by what they do in the ring not outside of it.

 

Mayweather must be the worst. Dude even disrespects former greats!

Even in his very early fights he was hitting downed opponents.

Obviously the incidents with Botha, Holyfield and the chomping of Lewis' leg are also to be taken into consideration and his numerous outbursts at press conferences.

 

Duran stuck his middle finger up to SRL wife before there first fight, thats pretty classless.

 

Livingston Bramble called Ray Mancini a murdered after the Kim fight, which is extremely classless in my book.

 

Not sure if this is true but if i is then Gerald mclellan was a complete sick dickhead.
Apparently mclellan used to set his pitbull on other dogs hat he had musselled and let it rip them to bits and string cats up and use them as pinatas. i know he came accross as a dick when promoting his fights but i though that was o build interest in the fight. as i say dont know if its true bu if it is then hes a complete wanker.

 

Yea, that James Butler guy takes the cake.

 

If we're talking about how boxers were like outside of the ring in their personal lives, then the list goes on and on and on.

But when it comes to sportsmanship and trash talk, obviously James Butler is up there. Muhammad Ali, James Toney, Livingstone Bramble, Ricardo Mayorga, Wilfredo Gomez, Bernard Hopkins, Roberto Duran, Riddick Bowe, etc.....could all be pretty tasteless at times (while most of them could be gracious at other times), whether it be to promote the fight or play mind games.

 

Naz respected every fighter he fought usually after smashing them up though, and NEVER made it personal with any fighter.

Can you name a fighter who has a vandeta against Naz? Or who Naz has a vandeta agaisnt? The answer is No.

Even when he lost to Barrera he showed a lot of humility.
