Watching the donaire walters fight, i just started thinking about guys who want to fight a certain way to win and not only to win. I didnt watch much of donaire before but against walters he seemed to crumble and kept trading when he probably should have been more conservaitve when it looked like the shots were affecting him more than walters. This happens often though and kind clear with some guys, RJJ when he started slowing still wanted to be the guy that was flying around the ring knocking guys out but he payed for it. Paulie Malignaggi is another fighter who needs to try and do some flash things and try to out trade his opponent when hes hurt. What other guys clearly let ego get in the way?

I would say Tyson would fall under that category. After coming out of prison in 95, he lost alot of what made him great before jail. The reflexes, combinations, head movement, speed etc... I think Tyson's ego got the best of him, that he felt all he needed was some intimidation and one big punch. And noone will be able to stand in his way. Which was true against C and B opponents, but against A class fighters he was unable to produce the type of magic that made him so great a decade before.
