Jones and Ali are the best examples. Neither one of them followed the book. Got away with technicial no-no's because in their primes they were INSANELY athletic and talented.

And on a smaller scale than them, Hamed, who away with his mistakes because of his athleticism and insane power.

No i know you are trolling baby floyd makes hardly any mistakes

Pac is the one who makes ton of mistakes and still is successful which goes to show how good he is to overcome those errors.

    Mayweather himself said this.

Carl Froch, his British iron chin allowed him to make multiple errors in defence and still continue to dominate.

Mayweather. His defense is second to none but as he's gone up in weight, the combination punching went by the wayside. If you watch closely, hes most vulnerable when hes throwing. If holyfield was a welter, he'd have Floyd's # by punching when he punched.

    Khan , Hatton , Froch.

Khan and Hatton got away with it most times because of speed . Froch got away with it due to having a crow bar for a chin.

I agree with this, but I will say as he gained pro experience, especially in his later years, his technical ability got a little better (especially his ability to jab.)

I also agree with the other poster who mentioned Sergio Martinez. He's a HOF bound fighter IMO, but very unorthodox in style.
