Fighters who make a lot of mistakes but are still successful?

    Pacquiao on his early days made too much mistakes even at his prime. But damn the guy is a fighting machine.

    He's actually one of the most technically sound boxers of all time. His combination punching has gone by the wayside as he's gotten older?!? How odd is that?!? I mean only every other boxer in history has experienced the same thing.

    I think Pacquiao looks as if he's making mistakes due to his totally unique style. If comparing him to other fighters then it may look like he is making mistakes but it's entirely down to him boxing completely differently to anybody else. Carl Froch is a good shout, also Mayorga was technically awful but got by solely on toughness.

    Surprised no one has mentioned Naseem Hamed yet. Leaping hooks and upper cuts, off balence alot, hands down. His power, speed and athleticism allowed him to overcome all of these things until Barrera and he was incredibly exciting to watch.
