The great and irrepressible Herbie Hide went from heavy down to cruiser, also. Picked up something called the WBC International Cruiser Belt along the way.

John Conteh. Started life as a heavyweight losing one decision though carried on till he koed former heavyweight title challenger Terry Daniels in 7.

Muhammad Ali was fighting in the main event (vs Bugner) and told Conteh to go down to light-heavyweight because he was too small to hang with the heavies.

The following month he was European champion, and the next year he won the World crown. Wise words from the Greatest!

Dariusz was a light-heavy first, won WBO crown over the tough Leonzer Barber, jumped up to cruiser to give the brave Argentinean Nestor Giovanni a pasting before returning back to light-heavy to dominate the WBO challengers.
