The 1 Fight Tyson was against a opponent with Pure-Power anythin' like Shavers - he was KTFO stone-cold on teh canvas by a Lennox-Haymaker. :deal

El Terrible was down, so to speak, against Barerra in their first fight, although probably should have been a slip.

He also took a count against Zivic in one of their fights, I think.

I am happy you Agreed Lennox exposed Tysons' Overated chin And prooved he cannt take teh highest level of power Haymaker [Foreman , Shavers And Lennox] on his chin. Lennox carried him [for threatening to eat his kids] for teh last 7 roundz, bullied the bully And when he decided it teh right time to end teh torture - he threw his 1st Haymaker And Knocked him out Cold! :happy

He is a coward - just look at teh clip i posted And watch Tyson cry like a teenage girl to the ref about unintentional head-Butts. Tin Foil Tyson wanted to quit. :deal :deal

I'm not obsessed with race one little bit - it's just you've got a proven track record - so much so that as i was typing that post I was laughing thinking god it will take about 5 minutes for powderpuff to sniff this out and come screaming back about how nobody can say anything bad about my man Tyson - and it actually took you less than 5 minutes :lol: that was the "concept" i was talking about  - PS the thread is about people who never climbed off the floor to win - not an argument about whether getting knocked down is something of a knock against your all time ranking - that's a different issue altogether - you're just spitting your dummy out because I had a go your man Tyson:yep

There's no known footage of it, but Ken reportedly did this at least three times in his early career, against Harold Dutra, Aaron Eastling and Vic Brown. In each instance, he got up to produce a quick knockout. These episodes apparently had more to do with Norton getting off to a slow start than any chin deficiency.

Ken was an even slower starter than Frazier. The one time he really did roar out of the gate though, it was in the super high profile Bobick win. (Against Turnbow, Zyglewicz, Ramos and Daniels, Smoke did show that he could roar right out of the gate. He took 13 seconds to deck Ziggy, knocked out Turnbow in a minute and a half, dropped Daniels before round one was finished, and only the ropes saved Ramos from a seat on the floor within the opening three minutes. Yet it's Frazier, not Norton, who always gets stereotyped as a slow starter. No, Joe was seldom at his best in round one, but that's not the same as being a fatally slow starting Bobick. Foreman needed considerably more than one round of their rematch to beat him the second time.)

Wasn't Khaoker dropped vs Wilfredo Vasquez early? I could be remembering it wrong but I'm about 60% he was.

I disagree. Tyson showed huge heart and a big chin in his losses to Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis ... All three hit him with monster shots time and again before he went down. His chin was first rate. He was a nut job but even in his losses he took tremendous beatings and never quit.
