But Froch is coming of 2 wins against mediocre at best opposition and hasnt shown any potential to shine at world level, but only time will tell. And as for Taylor, he has consistently fought the best in his division and is a geuine proven world level fighter, unlike Froch who has yet to fight a level higher than domestic.
The guys who never "duck" or "avoid" opponents are the lower-level fighters. They have less options, they fight anyone they can for the money. The high-profile fighters have more options.
no fighters duck anyone...if it makes dollars it makes sense...some promoters and managers may duck fighters but world class fighters themselves will fight anyone...that si why RJJ represnting himself bothered me because it did seem like he was pricing himself out of every big fight
HBO sort of forced that Mosley-Forrest fight though. They were frustrated with Shane's opposition post-DLH, especially the Stone fight when even Merchant was down on Mosley.
You have to include ODLH on that list. His resume is a whos who of the top fighters from the last decade and a half.
I disagree with that Froch hasn't shown any potential, that is why he is taked about that much,he has potential and earned his no 1 position,Taylor should fight him and that is that
tito? he ducked ike quartey and mosley and wanted no part of another boxing lesson from DLH. How bout oscar de la hoya? he has essentially fought EVERYONE for the past decade near his weight class
that is because he gets paid a SHITLOAD...of course he wants these big money fights...which goes back to my point that no WORLD CLASS fighter is afraid of anyone but they have so many options that they get accused of ducking when they take another fight for more money
where does it say tito DUCKED them...so he is afraind to fight quartey but not ODH WINKY BHOP RJJ VARGAS (prime)
