Fighters who never looked like being Great at first

    Wladimir Klitschko in early 2005. Seven years later, some people include him in the Top10 ATG heavyweights.

    Manny Pacquiao is another one.

    I think some are stretching Great eh Charlie Boy...

    Hank as TIGEREDGE suggests, is the call here.

    And although I would not use the G word to describe him; Calzaghe was hot property from day one in the British Boxing press.

    Seeing Wlad lose the way he did years ago, I didnt think he win the belt and be mostly view as the champ and holding onto it as long as he did.

    Yeah he still has his critics, but at the end of the day, he is the best heavyweight out there, earn the right in my eyes(And others) to be call the heavyweight champ, (Cant fault not fighting your bro) and has pretty much rule the divsion like Marciano, Louis, Ali, and others did, contenders climb the ladder, and Wlad knocks em off of it.

    Hagler never looked great. But he sure was later.
