Fighters who only lost to Reigning World Champions

    Trying to think of fighters who have only lost to someone holding a World Title

    I'm sure there is a few but can't for the life of me think of any who have retired.

    The only one I can think of who came close was Vitali Klitschko, which he would've accomplished had he beat Byrd

    Chris Byrd wasn’t the champion when he beat Vitali

    Scott Quigg is the only person I can think of off the top of my head..

    Edit: I was wrong I forgot about the Jono Carrol fight..

    If you mean fighters who only lost to reigning world champs - then Jeffries comes to mind.

    I know Chris wasn't the champ but he came close as he was beating Byrd by a fair bit on the cards, and had he finished the fight, his only loss would've been to Lewis who had the titles

    Trying to keep current fighters out of it since theres a good chance they'll still lose in their career when a title isn't on the line

    He's retired but fought only two reigning champs, Adonis and then Beterbiev

    Yea you gonna find a lot of examples in the lower weights, how many from 147 and up though ?
