But to say, if there was one job to quit whilst undertaking, boxing would probably come close to the top, but **** post never-the-less.
some times boxers just take a ****ing beating and there hurt mentaly and Phys. Boxing is a brutal sport and people get ****ed up and have died in the ring. Thats ****ign dangerous ****. If ur getting pounded and u have no fight left, quit and lose.. better then getting mangled and badly injuried. BUt some fighters are just die hard warriors and will wait till the ref stopps like. Thats a true warrior.
i understand why cotto quit but hasim rahman quiting against toney was ****ing embarrassing after only 3 rounds and dont get me started on the quiting master himself ANDREW GOLOTA!!!!!!!!!
Its okay for a fighter to quit under the right circumstances. If he has given his all and, then i have no problem with it.
I'd rather see someone "quit" than take permanent damage or worse. Fighters are people though, and some people have an ability to dig deep in theirselves and others don't. A lot of it has to do with what someone has already faced in life outside the ring as to what kind of heart and mental strength they really have. You just can't understand it unless you have it.
Yep, threadstarter was pretty selective. Add; Arguello, Morales, Frazier.....ATG's who'd had enough....the goes on
