Tyson definitely came to mind because he did it so seamlessly.

The only thing that Tyson did that I didn't like was when he ended up square sometimes post-shift.

George Crowcroft and Tin_Ribs like this.

True but I think his speed offset that

Chang did great Fitsimmons shifts in a Duranesque fashion. Laguna and Marcel too, though Laguna favoured inverted one-twos a bit more. I like Chris's mention of Martinez, he supposedly nullified the extremely formidable Borkhorsor that way after Venice had pasted Gonzalez and Salavarria and given Rafa Herrera a bit of a beating. Such an underrated win.

    For the most part, yeah.

I am nitpicking of course, but when Tyson finished square on, he didn't always work. He could be tied up and pushed back. Not his prime at all, but Holyfield took advantage in the clinch. Tyson finishes square on, Evan ties him up, Mike's hands drop as he's regaining stance and Mr Fields is firing off on him.

At his peak though, by the time you've tasted that power and speed in combination, good luck having the presence of mind to try to exploit the momentary opportunity.
