    Typical Richie. Not a " Great " but liked and respected throughout the sport. I boxed on the same bill as him once in the amateurs and bumped into him at various times at shows ever since. He never fails to say hi. Don't reckon he even knows my name .

    Joe Louis admitted he lost to Jersey Joe Walcott...he even left the ring has the decision was announced

    I think he said he left the ring because he was disappointed in his performance, not because he thought he lost.

    He didn't admit it but you could see the shocked look on Ward's face when he got the decision in the first Kovelav fight.
