    Touche.

I was obviously surprised that people were picking Langford over Marciano in the other thread.

What about fighter's like Hagler or M. Spinks?

Or could he beat any of the in shape "super heavys"?

He's awful wee to be beating this skilled giants. But i'm satisfied he punches hard enough to KO Lewis and Wlad, for whatever that's worth.

I'd pick Spinks to beat Langord over 12, but i'd say that Langford would be favourite over 20.

I'd see Langford as a favourite over Hagler, but if it turns out Hagler could take Langford's punches - not impossible - he could tough it out to a decision i'd bet.

    This I find slightly confusing...

Hagler had an ATG chin, and Langford went the distance over 60 times in fights he won. Not that I have checked but I would guess a lot of those fighters had been stopped either before or after.

Why would it be "not impossible", looking at his record, I would say its likley. :huh

Langford has one punch KO's over great HW'S. Harry Wills is about the same size as Liston, maybe a bit taller. Langford ditched him with a single left hook. There is no suspicion regardling the Wills chin. Nor the Jeanette chin (200lbs), nor Mcvey. Langford punched hard enough to stop genuine HW's with good punch resistance.

That being the case, dose Hagler have exeptional HW punch resistance? Or can he keep out of trouble whilst fighting hard enough to take the decision? There are additional arguments, for example Langford is fighting these big guys with an additional (Though artificial) 15-30 on him. Maybe his HW type punching power doesn't translate.

I'm not sure how confident I am that Vitali would win, but based on Langford's fights against Fulton, he could be vulnerable to a tall, rangy heavyweight with a long jab and a hard right hand. Vitali is that, plus much more durable than Fulton was, bigger, and possibly harder hitting. He might not have the heart to stick in there if Langford starts to get inside and beat him up around the body, though.

Based on what do you believe he could've KO'd them, particularly Lennox?
