    Let's start with Segundo Mercando.
Beaten just once in 21, going into his first fight with BHop; he drew, (decking the self-styled 'Executioner' twice,) then got battered in the return, drawing once and losing 9 in his last 11 bouts.(Final tally: 19-10-2)
Surely as shocking a deterioration as any 'world' level fighter, of any era, ever!

    Davey Moore
    Jeff Lacy

Then other guys like Donald Curry, Fernando Vargas, and Meldrick Taylor never fully recovered from their first losses, but at least they won world titles after their first L.

    Sure thing.

    I really rated this guy.

Wasn't he as much defeated by his droopy eye as much as anything else, though?

Where's he at now, anyone know?

Actually. He did fight again. And Bojado is a poor example, if I'm honest.

His management may have just been cashing out when they put him in there with Trinidad, figuring he was vulnerable and had a good chance of losing with his weaknesses and his eye problem. He looked bad in some of his fights, such as the one with Kelly.

I had wondered why they'd put a guy with 14 pro fights in there with someone like Trinidad.
