Cotto is another. Funny he was brought up because I was rewatching Cotto-Mosley yesterday.

he is a very nice guy but he doesnt realize its time to hang em up. I felt sorry for him when I watched him get his ass kicked in that LHW fight. It was hard to watch and I felt bad for the guy

yeah byrd is a good call

as is the gentleman who said lionel butler. i just watched that fight at the gym and thought "ok, that can't be the actual lionel bulter" and then i saw his age and realized it was him...it's a ****ing shame

to add to the list yory boy (if he isn't retired) and tommy hearns (who hasn't announced it OFFICIALLY)

Chris Eubank after losing to Carl Thompson, he gave his all.
Steve Robinson after the mugging he got from Hamed.
Barry Jones after he lost to Acelino Freitas.

Yeah. It's hard for a boxer to retire because they want to make sure they do as much as they want to(esp. financially) to make sure they don't have to comeback or be labeled a "could have been". I would be very meticulous about how I would retire too if I was a boxer. Just to keep adding names how about Vasquez, Marquez, and Casamayor?

Holyfield for sure, he should not be fighting at his age( by the way he clearly beat valuev who didnt do anything, it was one of the most boring fights i have ever seen)
Roy jones also seeing him ko in 1 round against green is just sad.

Taylor is definitely up there. Gets so much disrespect despite fighting his heart out and taking on the best. People talk **** about fighters who don't fight the best, then they turn around and crucify a guy like Taylor who fights the best - sometimes winning, sometimes losing. It's pathetic.

Also, Lamon Brewster is another nice guy who takes way too much punishment in the ring. He needs to think about hanging it up before he suffers the same fate as poor Calvin Brock.

BTW, have you heard how Calvin's doing?

For me, Taylor, Roy Jones Jr., Holyfield:patsch, JLC:-(, hell even Zab Judah needs to retire as well.

I really feel sorry for JLC though...He has to basically fight for free because of the situation he was put in by Chico for not making weight. My God Bless his soul!:-(
