So which fighters in your view has more exciting fights in their career then they are given credit for?.......My pick is Lennox Lewis, sure he can play it a bit too safe at times but he could also have a great slug fest like against Shannon Briggs and Vitali Klitschko or have a dominating 2 round destruction like against Razor Ruddock and Michael Grant.

Lewis is a good call. Too many brand him as boring.

Mr.Garfield, when you say "Not so unfairly", do you mean they deserved to get labeled boring or not?

I'm a huge fan of Emile Griffith, yet I admit he can be boring..Carlos Monzon is one of the greatest fighters of all time, yet if you don't know what you're watching, he can appear to be dull too...but mostly to those fans with short attention spans. Watching guys like Willie Pastrano and Harold Johnson is art to me, but can be excrutiatingly dull to rock 'em sock 'em robot type fans...

Lennox certainly, for me Whitaker and Mayweather, I know some will find them boring but I love to watch them practice the sweet science.

A lot of the defensive masters. I love to watch that sort of thing. It's all about preference, I suppose. That said, I do find guys like Lewis and Griffith boring for the most part, not that they haven't had their moments. Charles is another who can be quite a bore for me, though he's just as capable of doing some really impressive work.

I agree with you. Lennox was cautious at times, but I never found him boring. Jimmy Young got unfairly tagged as being boring too, imo.

As far as Mayweather is concerned he does have his fair share of fights that are entertaining, especially at 130 pounds. But even above 130 pounds like against Corley,Gatti,Judah he entertained in those bouts, people have put too much emphasis on his boring fights against Baldomir and Oscar.
