    Thats what i kept thinking.
    Zab was the draw.

I remember Kostya getting 34,000 at the Dome in Melbourne for a fight with Lieja.

Plus the millions of Aussie and Russian viewers which would be well alot.

Dont get me wrong i dont think Zab has a bad chin i just think when your hit like that what can you do.

Lennox Lewis - he certainly has no iron chin, but it's not glass either. I'd say he has an average chin. I mean he got knocked out by Oli McCall and Rahman, but both of them are strong punchers and caught him with a good shot.

Same thing with RJJ - he just got caught with a good shot by Tarver, that's boxing. **** happens. Also with Johnson. I mean both Johnson and Tarver can punch, and they're both good fighters, not bums. He got hit with other good shots during his career but didn't go down - he has an average chin.

As for Wlad - well I think 9 out of 10 HWs would have gone down from the shots he got hit with by Sanders, and Wlad still got up from the first ones. And he clearly was exhausted against Brewster, who is also a big puncher and hit him clean right on the chin. There's no shame in that. Well he went down against Peter and Williams too, but that was because of rabbit punching and being off-balance. And he always got up again. I think it's safe to say that Wlads chin is his weak point, and the reason why he chose to fight so defensive-minded during the last years, but it's not at bad as people make it out to be. It's average at best, but he has good recreational ability.

Cotto. He hasn't shown himself anymore glass jawed than young Trinidad or DLH but gets the label.

Give me a break, next to Morrison, Wlad has the weakest chin by a natural Heavyweight champion of all-time, he's been knocked down 11 times, most of which were by Journymen, as well as TKO'd 3 times, by 2 journymen and a club fighter.

Wlad cant take a punch for ****, anytime he gets hit with a solid blow, his knees buckle and he's forced to clinch to stay up, even RJJ laughed at how rocked he got by a lightly thrown straight left from Brewster in the 3rd round. He would later go on to say something along the lines of "With a chin like that he dont want to get in the ring with me". I think Wlads many panic attacks are proof enough he cant take a good punch without falling apart or clinching excessively(see Sam Peter match).

seconded especially lewis. neither has glass chins and lewis had a good chin imo otherwise how could he take the bombs mercer and especially vitali landed on him. i mean, everyone kinda loses sight of the fact lewis took a pretty awful beating from vitali too. his face was badly swollen. that wasn't from one punch either.

wlad doenst have a good chin. i see it as average but sometimes he panics when he gets caught with big shots and his footwork goes out the window. i saw a lot of progress against brewster in the rematch but let's face it, he hasnt been hit by a real punch in 6 fights. thompson and povetkin will not buck that trend :yep

his chin may not be tested for a long time

David Haye has been labelled as having a weak chin. I of course would not say he has a glass jaw but nothing close to concrete. Most glass jaw fighters never get very far in their career, with all the tools in the shop if you do not possess the ability to take a good shot then you won't make it too far. Although I will say in reference to Haye that he may (like all heavyweights) have some problems over the 200+ limit. Most anyone at heavyweight (besides Zuri Lawrence) can hit hard, and guys like Briggs, Rahman, McCall, and Bruno threw shots hard enough to kill a decent amount of braincells.

Sorry guys but I really don't think Wlads chin is anything special. He even fights to hide it (hence why he's VERY uncomfortable being pressured). My vote would go to Cotto for a current fighter. Lennox or maybe Frazier for past fighters

Yeh I would put it below average personally. And yes Gamboas chin will be tested in due time (not by Rojas though).

I would like a chin-check for Povetkin too (against your guy)

    Sooooooooo wrong !

Did you see the chicken dance ?

    Zab was knocked down.

    Nady began the count.

Zab got up during the count.

And then Zab did the chicken dance.

There was only ONE course of action open to Nady, and he took it.

BTW, Kostya was as much or mor of the draw that night.

Finally, it doesn't matter a **** WHO the draw is. That doesn't feature in any way in deciding whether or not to stop a fight.
