Fighters who went up 35+ pounds winning titles

    I'm surprised no one has mentioned Guillermo Jones..

    He won a minor title at 147 and he is currently the WBA Cruiserweight champ.

    That's a 55 lb difference.

    sam langford was only 5'6.5", weighed about 180 lbs and fought at hw. how amazing is that? he was outweighed by as much as 50 lbs. langford is a ****ing tank.

    no doesn't count he didn't win one significant title except for the WBA Cuiserweight title.

    ted kid lewis started at feather weight was former world welter champ and also fought as high up as light heavyweight he also fought jack britton 20 times 12 ended in no contests nearly as many times as b-hop has fought robert allen i think :p

    no he didn't. from what i gather, he was avoided. still, for a 5'6.5" frame to be fighting at hw, that is phenomenal, title or no title.

    yeah. since a former drug dealer, ex-con, crackhead and woman beater said so. that's just one guy by the way. :-(
