Never being stopped in 80 something fights with guys like Trinidad, De La Hoya, Chavez, Rosario, etc hitting you is what qualifies him for a mention in a thread titled "fighters that were all but impossible to stop."

Aside from that, I don't think anyone has mentioned Kid Gavilan yet. Nearly 150 fights and never stopped and only down 2 or 3 times, granite chin and brilliant boxing ability and versatility being the reasons.

I saw Camachos fights with Trinidad, De La Hoya, Chavez! In every one of those fights he was going backwards, sideway & holding from the opening bell. That was because of the hook Rosario landed in their fight. He ran so much that he was never in any of those fights! Based on that, he does not qualify!

Past his best he took massive shots from Welterweight bangers Trinidad and De La Hoya, and the beating he took from Chavez was brutal.
80+ fights in a quarter century long career and never stopped. He was slick and when he did take beatings, he proved he could take physical damage, therefore he must be mentioned.

Jack Dempsey-his open and all out war style begged for counters but only KO'd once.

    Rocky Marciano-easy pick.

    Joe Grimm-has to be #1

I remember Big Foot he was great, he was once giving Bowe so much trouble in a open press workout that Papa smurf asked the sparring to be stopped (caesars palace pavillion for Holyfield 3) Everett gave Gary Mason his first cut and serious eye injury when extending the british heavyweight for the first time in his career... The very next fight Mason had was where his eye was damaged so heavily he needed extensive surgery after Lewis aimed at it for the whole duration of thier fight until it was waved off.. Everett was stopped in a savage fight in san francisco a few years ago when he was forced to take immense punishment against James Smith where in an almost religious experience both fighters embraced and were openly in tears.. it was a weird one.. Everett Martin was the man that i blame for Bowes massive eating problems and weight balooning between fights.. On the road to major bouts Bigfoot and team Bowe would engage in eating competitions .. On route to Las Vegas to fight Hide , Bowe and Martin were said to have had a mammoth KFC splurge and a frozen youghurt eating comp , where they both ate mountains of the stuff resulting in Bowe leaving Washington weighting 255 and arriving around the 263 mark.. Eddie Futch didn't want Bigfoot around Bowe too much after that... I saw the Bowemobile when they arrived at the Grande Garden .. It was littered with take out food cartons .. The press had a field day......

Juan Martin Coggi, knocked down many a time, but virtually impossible to force a stoppage against.

The untouchable, fantastic to watch him work. The way he stands, completely open but nothing lands. His head movement is so subtle, sometimes it looks as if his opponents are simply aiming to miss.

Yes sir he did,, One i didn't mention was ... Who was the very first man to knock the former light heavyweight and two time heavyweight champion of the world Michael Moorer over for a count of 8..

Yes you guessed it......... Everett Bigfoot Martin at the palace at Aubern Hills, when Mike first became a heavyweight.. Mike was very stunned and had to get off the floor and be a pro for the very first time.. :good
