Ali bending Bugner over and smacking his bum was pretty funny - and Jack Johnson stopping to applaud Frank Moran after he'd managed to land one decent punch halfway into the fight was another good one - some of the things Max Baer did were hilarious aswell especially in the Braddock fight - all that prancing around LOL
Marlon Starling. Not only was it hard to land flush on him he would stick his tongue out after he blocked most of your shots and **** you off lol.
I think Jersey Joe Walcott was the ultimate master at clowning, because his clowning techniques actually worked against hall of fame ATG's. You may not call it clowning what Walcott did, because he didn't make facial expressions...but the point is he didn't need to. It was his Walcott Waltz and Flashy upperbody movements which did the clowning for him. Also my favorite clowning of all time was Sugar Ray Leonard Round 7 vs Roberto Duran in New Orleans. One of the greatest battle plans of all time. He completely befuddled, shocked, humiliated Duran with his fake windmill jab. To the point where Roberto Duran quit in the next round. It was Sugar Ray's antics in round 7 which caused Duran to quit in round 8. Just my opinion.
Ali looked like he was just having fun when he was clowning.Same thing with Roy Jones. Guys like Qawi,Hamed and Calzaghe looked like ****s when they clowned .They were probably just having fun as well but for some reason to me they came across as nasty. Someone else might think the opposite is true though....eye of the beholder or whatever.
