I remember when Bizzarro fought Roberto Duran for the lightweight title. I had been trying to get one of my friends into boxing. I thought I would start by inviting him to watch the fight with me and my dad. I spent the week before explaining how good Duran was and how he was both violent and clever at the same time. For 14 rounds Bizarro basically ran from Duran. at times almost literally. My friend was so bored that it took me about a year to get him to watch another fight. He had heard of Ray Leonard because of the Olympics so he came over to watch one of his fights and he has been a fight fan ever since. Bizarro almost lost the sport what turned out to be a lifelong boxing fan.

 

Jimmy Young is the poster child at Heavyweight for this. BJS(the scumbag) was one of the best spoilers in the world

 

Freddie Norwood could be an awkward task.

 

I don't know how anyone coped with Randy Turpin. So powerful, strong, quick, unorthodox, violent and awkward all in one package.

 

Ottke has yet to be mentioned. I liked sending away for his fights & actually enjoy watching the guy.
