Technically lots of iron chinned fighters were stopped at one point or another, but they were generally stopped on their feet, on cuts or other technicalities. McCall I think is a great shout for being one of those almost impossible to (genuinely) stop heavyweights of all time. Lewis was hitting him with full force power punches while McCall was sauntering around the ring blubbing, and the most effect it had on him was to make him flinch a bit.
