Hector Camacho after Rosario. Technically not a loss but, well, you know...

    Michael Nunn after James Toney.

    William Guthrie after Reggie Johnson.

    Vivian Harris after Carlos Maussa.

Andrew "Six heads" Lewis after Ricardo Mayorga.

Not really. Henry Tillman looked scared. Alex Stewart shat bricks. So did Bruce Seldon and possibly Julius Francis.

    Thanks!
Indeed, it is hard to stay the same fighter after receiving beatings like those....

    Agreed.

He was an obnoxious piece of sh!t, especially with all that Allah Akbar chanting garbage in the ring, but to call a man who won the WBC, IBF, and WBO titles at Featherweight a gimmick is pure stupidity.

I always heard Buster Mathis had a hard time dealing with his losses to Frazier and Quarry. With Frazier, his mgmt. got him right back up on the horse, but after the Quarry fight he just disappeared for 2 years. The story was he just couldn't get his head around losing.

I'd say Tyson wasn't as mentally effected after Douglas as people think, his comeback after was going pretty good but I think after the Holyfield loss he knew he didn't have it anymore and seemed mentally broken as a fighter. After that he didn't care anymore and resorted to imploding during a fight.

Think tyson was banned for a period after the second holyfield fight. Pretty sure he was on drugs/alcohol pretty heavily if his books to be believed anyway during that time. Plus he was aging. Hence the comeback against second raters ending in his beating against lewis. I dont think douglas ruined the invisibility with tyson. I think tyson realised he was unprepared for it he could have easily got that invisibility back. Saying that we ll never really know anyway as he ended up in prison not long after it. But for a brief time after he was out you saw fighters starting to really fear him again.

Think hatton. Groves. Naseem. Very good shouts. They really struggled after that first loss.

Maybe alex arthur could be in that mix at a slightly lower level. Gomez seemed to knock the fight out of him after that first loss. Did go on to claim a world title afterwards tbf...but think it was pretty much gifted to him and he didnt really go on to achieve what people thought he was gonna.

Sounds stupid after saying he won a world title...but it did finish him. Same with cleverly. Kovalov knocked the fight out him.
