Tony Ayala Jr, Chuck Wiggins, John L Sullian were all alcoholics

As for partiers, there are loads! Here are some infamous ones:

    Jack Johnson
    Stanley Ketchel
    Roberto Duran
    Carlos Monzon
    Mickey Walker
    Mike Tyson
    Harry Greb
    Maxie Rosenbloom

Funny story about Mickey Walker. He was out late partying and drinking (as was usual for him) so he figured he would do his roadwork by running him - only he was wearing his double-breasted suit! That didn't stop him. And while running him in the dark he noticed another suited figure jogging the opposite way - it was Maxie Rosenbloom, another partier, and the opponent Walker was training for. They'd both had the had the same idea! They wished each other well and continued with their roadwork. Funny story

Ken Overlin was apparently an all round wildman, booze, woman, fights, gambling and underworld friend.

Tyson was partying early in his career and often. It certainly affected his focus and training habits as the years passed. Sometime in the latter 90's he seemed to get into blow. As he told the cop who arrested him in Arizona, "I can't get enough. I'll do all that I can."
