Probably not the first in here to say it, but Riddick Bowe. He robbed us of a great clash of the big men, and of an era where we would have had two equally superb big men.

Yeah, he put it together here and there, but he never came close to long term living up to his genetic gifts. He was probably more genetically gifted than Lennox. He was certainly no LESS gifted than Lennox.

You called me along with like 6 other posters morons for calling Foreman an arm puncher.

Grey said he was an arm puncher. Therefore you must think he's a moron in spite of the fact used an appeal to authority (which is a logic fallacy BTW) name dropping him and how he agreed with you as if that meant anything to me. So clearly your opinion is definitely swayed by that of other men. But then again, you did throw like a fourth of the active members under the bus for disagreeing with you and called them morons which is incredibly childish and narrow minded.

I've already explained why sticking with only one definition used by Helstin or whatever that dude's name is that wrote the book you mentioned is flawed. Not only would less than 1/10 boxers or trainers not even know who that is, boxing is not some religion or science with rigid terms that only have one meaning.

This guy's book is not the bible or Quran lol. Cross trainer and other posters even pointed out to you that other trainers and gyms have a different take on what an arm puncher is than what you're claiming. It's dubious at best to keep screaming that your definition is right when so many people don't even know what book you're talking about.

The fact four different world class boxers/trainers don't even agree on the proper way to throw a hook (bell, wright, Foreman, Jones) is just more proof you need to get off your high horse and stop acting like there is a strict set of codes and definitions in boxing everyone agrees with. Even something as fundamental as knowing when to stop a fight depends on the taste of the referee. Some are more lenient while others are very quick to wave a fight off.

So kindly shut the entire **** up running around telling people they don't know anything about boxing because you read some book that not everyone even agrees is the ultimate authority on all these terms. Joe Louis literally wrote a book called "how to box", if someone says something that completely contradicts what he said, do they not know anything about boxing?

Completely agree. Bowe could have been a top 5 ATG if he stayed focused and stopped stuffing himself. The lewis fight not happening is one of the biggest black marks in the history of boxing. It wasn't just that the fight didn't happen, it's how he blatantly threw away his belt despite the millions being offered and the prestige+the chance to avenge an amateur loss. The fact he didn't do jack after the Hoylfield trilogy just makes it worse. I could overlook the Lewis fight a tiny bit if he beat other good heavies in that era such as Moorer, Mercer, Tua, etc.

Looks like Wilder vs Joshua is heading in that direction. If Joshua rematches usyk and loses again, he'll probably retire and disappear (especially with a knockout loss).

What a load of hyperbole, gibberish and a lack of context or self awareness.

The only part of this nonsense I am going to address is the part about calling people morons.

You are the only one I think is a moron- I explained that to you among other things

Except you did in fact call multiple posters morons for disagreeing with you after I pointed them out by name. You even justified it saying popularity and majority don't mean anything.

None of this changes the fact you made a big deal out of Grey and valued his opinion, and now you're throwing him under the bus for disagreeing with you on if Foreman used the ground and was an arm puncher. So he's apparently a moron for disagreeing with you.

The context is right there in the direct quotes I posted jackass!

Yes I'm sure you're slapping your forehead at your own stupidity Kamikaze.

Lesson learned. Next time dont blather on and on about how your narrow definitions are the only ones that apply and use appeal to authority fallacies. You might end up with your foot in your mouth when said authority disagrees with you.

God you're dumb. Imagine being over 30 and trying this hard for validation.

Imagine not knowing how to quote properly, using words wrong, and being an insecure man child who made a new account to avoid embarrassment. Imagine being so dumb you think Ken Norton was bulking up and getting shredded lifting weights while losing 20 lbs at the same time. Imagine referencing another poster as a figure of authority to validate your argument then saying they're dumb for disagreeing with you.

    Kamikaze.

You keep using words wrong. And you project your insecurities onto other people.

Referencing another poster with an appeal to authority, fawning over them, is you seeking validation. Making a farewell post is you seeking validation. Creating a bunch of random threads (8 on the first page at one point when this new account is barely a month old? ) is you seeking attention and validation. Sucking up to moderators is you seeking validation.

I do not give two rat turds what you think of me. I do not seek validation from anyone here and anyone who knows me knows you're way off the mark.

It’s been a while since I saw Mustafa vs Scott but that bout from my memory sticked out as Mustafa doing the minimum and getting worked.
Just a case of Mustafa not fully showing up (I will never forgive him for his fight with snipes) and James Scott being a conditioning machine in the fight of his life - similar perhaps to Parez (spelling?) vs Dorsey 1.

Wilder could have become so much more too than a bum-crusher pity his personality has always been problematic.

Been a while since I've seen this thread. To add to this post, if anyone hasn't seen Daniel Zaragoza vs Kiyoshi Hatanaka, I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching it!

Nice one Pug,got it right re both Douglas and Bugner.
Anybody who saw Bugner's fight with Joe Frazier should never doubt his courage.
