Classic and Benitez looked so smug when turning away, as if to say, yeah baby, first points to me.

Thank God they didn't, lol. Now, if it was two extremely attractive, hot bodied female UFC fighters about to lock lips, I would've been okay with that. Well, a lot more than okay, actually. Oops, I've done it again, working myself up into a lather.

With all Ali's talk in the lead up and talking all through the prefight instructions, Foreman looked like he literally wanted to kill Muhammad. His top lip pulled back over his gum shield in a snarl, steam coming out of his ears and his head looking like it was about to explode - like in the movie Scanners.

The way Ali was dressing Foreman down was unreal. Looking at Foreman up and down with absolute scorn, as if mentally measuring him and finding him severely wanting - who was crazy enough to poke that bear with such an "assault"?

Well, Ali was, and we know Jose King Roman was too, though Jose got piled driven into the canvas for his troubles, and he was also punched earlier in the fight while he was down.

Jose fulfilled Part A of the grand plan - make George angry. Very good. Unfortunately, he didn't formulate a supplementary and more significant Part B to the plan = how to actually take advantage of an insanely furious Foreman.

It wasn’t strictly a staredown (at least at first) but Aaron Pryor v DuJuan Johnson featured a shadow box-off as Pryor pulled his trick of bouncing around Johnson to psyche him out and Johnson started swinging, not to hit him but to show him he wasn’t intimidated.

Then Pryor initiated a stare off and Johnson didn’t back down then either - in fact, it was Pryor who broke it off. So I’d say Johnson took a win in the pre-fight antics.

Then the real fight started and it was a wild one. Pryor got dropped early before coming back to stop Dujuan.

I’d like to have seen a rematch.

There’s an argument to say it was stopped a little early - certainly Johnson was not happy about it as he thought the ref was giving him a standing 8-count - but I can only see it going one way had it continued. I’m not sure a rematch would have been a good thing for Johnson.

I remember it being competitive I thought had Johnson been more composed he might’ve caught and finished Aaron Pryor at some point. That’s how I felt at the time years ago. I shouldn’t comment i haven’t watched “The Hawk” for a long time.

I just did a YouTube search on him. Instead of legitimately trying to hurt unsuspecting people, his new thing is to lightly tap people on exercise machines and then counting that to his “record”. There’s a video of him doing that yesterday.
